Nephrology, internal medicine
How to schedule an appointment for the first time?
Scheduling is in your interest, because in that way you save your valuable time and save yourself from stress and anxiety.
If you want to schedule an appointment for the first time at an internist and you already have a recommendation from a doctor then it is easy, since you know with whom you need to schedule an appointment.
If you do not have a recommendation, it is also easy, the nurses and the doctors at the Badawi Polyclinic are at your service, just ask a question.
You can schedule by telephone, mail, in person and take the opportunity to ask for the price of services or take a look at our price list.
How to prepare for some examinations
If you are scheduling by telephone or in person, ask – you can get advice, if you are scheduling by email, advice will be sent to you. The preparation depends on the type of examination which is planned.
Should I bring some findings?
It is recommended that you bring all previous findings with you (medical report, laboratory analyses, results of X-ray, magnetic resonance and the rest of your medical documentation).
What does a nephrologist do?
He dedicates special attention to the work and deviations, health and disease of kidneys. In this regard, laboratory tests and ultrasound examinations are unavoidable, and you can do all that in the Badawi Polyclinic.
Laboratory tests should be done in advance, one or more days (depending on what is required, e.g. for urine culture, it should be a minimum of 3 days, excluding weekends and holidays).
Ultrasound examination can be done on the previous day, or the nephrologist will schedule and perform an ultrasound.
X-ray and magnetic resonance imaging can be done quickly by scheduling through our nurses, but these are certainly not common procedures and they are done only at the recommendation of a doctor.
