What is a magnet?
Earth is a huge magnet, people, plants and animals, we all live in a magnetic field, and our body produces a magnetic field in the cells.
Therefore, the application of magnets in treatment represents natural support and helps the body in the healing process.
Magnet (from the Greek word magnetic lithos – magnetic stone) is a material or body that has its own magnetic field. Magnets are divided into fixed (permanent) and electro magnets (acting as a magnet only under the influence of electricity). Permanent magnets are divided into natural and artificial.
Natural magnets are found in nature and artificial ones are produced obtained by magnetization of certain materials such as titanium, cobalt, nickel, aluminum and some others.
A short history
Long ago people knew about the curative effects of the magnet, information on this can be found in the Atharva Veda (originating in India and more than 5000 years old). They were also used in ancient Egypt for treatment and mummification. In traditional Chinese medicine, magnets are used alone or in combination with acupuncture. Scientific research on the effects of magnets began in the 16th century, and the latest research confirms the effectiveness of magnets.
How does a magnet work
- relieves pain (migraine, rheumatism, sports and other injuries, back pain due to illness or injury)
- relaxes muscles
- increases resistance to stress
- helps with insomnia
- improves circulation
- increases energy
- improves mood
- has a tonic effect
- is effective in the case of a large number of diseases.
Modern life and magnetism
Modern life keeps us all trapped in buildings and cars and the effect of the Earth’s natural magnetic field is lessened by a thick layer of concrete and steel. Electro-smog from computer screens, radio and television sets, mobile phones, electric pillows, microwave ovens and other modern devices represents an additional risk factor. Geopathologic zones of disorders, such as groundwater and pollution, also have a negative impact on the human body.
These factors can cause magnetic field deficiency syndrome.
Do I have the magnetic field deficiency syndrome?
If you feel some of these signs and symptoms, it is necessary to check what is going on. In “magnetic field deficiency syndrome”, as Dr Nakagawa from Japan called it, you may feel:
- stiffness in the shoulders
- discomfort in the back with headaches
- muscle aches
- digestive ailments
- disturbances in the circulation of blood and lymph
- lack of concentration and general fatigue
Which intensity, which pole of the magnet should I use?
The intensity of 300 gauss already shows an effect on the cells, but magnets of 1500-3000 gauss are most commonly used in therapy.
The polarity of the magnet determines its effect. For example, the north pole is effective in the treatment of infections, while the south pole is effective for pain, swelling of joints and chronic fatigue.
What kind of magnet should I use?
There are more opportunities to use magnets. The type, form and duration of use is agreed upon with your therapist. The magnets can be used as: magnetized water, in the form of tiles, beads, and jewelry.
- Do not use magnets if you have a pacemaker
- After magnetotherapy, do not swim at least 2-3 hours
- It is not advisable to wear strong magnets (2000-3000 gauss)
- Pregnant women and young children should not use strong magnets
- Strong magnets are not placed in the area of the eyes, heart or brain
Impulser Pulse Magnetotherapy
Impulser Pulse Magnetotherapy is used in the primary surgical, gynecological, dental, ophthalmic, ENT diseases. Nevertheless, in the field of immunology many positive effects have been reported, that is, research is still ongoing on the link between drug interactions and magnetic therapy, i.e. the interaction between tumor and magnetic field. The effect of pulsating magnetic therapy has been clinically proved in the treatment of many diseases.
During therapy, one effective pulsating magnetic field is used. Impulser magnetic therapy system contains in itself a controller through which the pulses are sent to the coils, which are located in the mattress. Using different software, the appliance works on concrete problems. Daily use of Impulser magnetic therapy can improve the energy potential of the cells, which strengthens, improves body functions, and provides a good mood.
It has been clinically proven that a pulsating magnetic field has important biostimulation effects. It promotes self-regulatory skills of living organisms, improves microcirculation, metabolism of cells and tissues, and thus accelerates regeneration. Among medical therapies, peripheral cardiovascular disease, lung disease, gastrointestinal and pediatric diseases appear in large numbers.
Places of actions
Prevention, basic strengthening of physical potentials, regeneration, activation of the defense system of the body, improving circulation, improving mood, relaxation, promoting healthy sleep, stress reduction, improving circulation, treating inflammation of the joints and weariness, additional therapy in rheumatism, osteoporosis therapy, supporting regeneration, accelerating metabolism, increasing oxygen saturation in the blood. What is more:
- high blood pressure
- circulatory disorder
- enhancing performance
- broken bones
- pain during wound healing
- postoperative recovery
- inflammation of the gums
- nervousness and stress
- general relaxant
Fast pain relief, natural anti-inflammatory effect, rapid termination of the disease and normalization of diseased field metabolism, therapy without side effects (in this way a small risk factor) more diseases can be treated simultaneously in several places, ideal for patients who have multiple types of problems. Creating a new magnetotherapy process has already proved its effect. It is already an imminent therapeutic device in elements of physiotherapy today. The treatment is safe, fast, simple, easy to use at home, and painless. Using a magnetic field treatment shortens the time to reach the target of therapy.
Our experience of 25 years shows that this method can be used in the work of home doctors, in home care, in rheumatologic, trauma, orthopedic, dermatology, cosmetology, sports and medical and surgical specialist in facilities, as well as rehabilitation facilities. Impulser pulse magnetotherapy can be continuously used in the prevention of the body, in order to avoid civilization diseases, as well as in the treatment of chronic or acute diseases. In such cases, magnetic therapy acts as an analgetic, improves blood circulation, stimulates cell joints and bones, and exerts an anti-inflammatory effect.
